Two teams from Year 5 and 6 headed to Yeovil Town Football Club to play in the U11s Cup. It was a wonderful opportunity to play on the YTFC astro. Both teams faced tricky fixtures, but were able to show huge improvements in their play as the tournament progressed. Jake did some unbelievable saves and was the talk of the tournament and Joshua scored his first goal. The Y6 Boys team won a match against strong opponents and then we headed to the stands to have our lunch. We were also honoured to meet two of the players, Frank and Sonny, who posed for photos with the children, signed balls and spoke their own experience of football in Primary School. Thanks to YTFC for organising such an enjoyable experience.
